We were just reading a Yahoo! article today “Home in a home as families live together longer – Homebuilders cater to growing number of Americans living in multi-generational households” and realized that our home with property for sale could be perfect for your multi-generational family.
While that was not our thought at the time we designed it, with lots of space, entrances, two stairways to the lower level, plenty of bathrooms, two zoned water heaters and zoned climate control – it has the features you need to fit extra family members comfortably.
And while some areas have zoning ordinances that prevent that type of extended family living under one roof, you won’t find that kind of government intrusion out here.
In fact, with the privacy this home on 87 acres offers, no one would even know unless you advertised it.
The large multi-purpose room in the lower level that I use for my office could even be converted to a private suite with it’s own bath; I have the design in my head as I type this.
Or use the lower level bedroom as is with the 3/4 bath right next to it for that “extra” person or couple. With the large laundry room there is plenty of room for segregated wash too. No one needs to be bumping into someone else if you don’t want it.
